TENSION - 3 pattern rpt's and 4 rows measures approx 1 inch

Bib - With colour 1, make 30ch loosely, (RS) work 1dc into 2nd ch from hook, 1dc into each ch to end. Turn. (29dc)

 

Next Row - 1ch, (1dc, 1tr) into base of 1ch, * miss 1dc, (1dc, 1tr) into next dc, * rpt from * to * to last 2dc, miss 1dc, work 1dc into last dc. Turn. (14 groups)

 

Pattern Row - 1ch, (1dc, 1tr) into base of 1ch, * miss 1tr, (1dc, 1tr) into next dc, * rpt from * to * to last tr and dc, miss tr, 1dc into last dc. Turn.


Rpt Pattern Row 3 more times. Fasten off.


Join in colour 2 and rpt Pattern Row 3 more times. Fasten off.


Join in colour 1 and rpt Pattern Row 18 more times. Turn.


You should have worked 27 rows in all (including dc row) or work measures approx 5.5 Inches


Neck shaping - 1ch, (1dc, 1tr) into base of 1ch, * miss 1tr, (1dc, 1tr) into next dc, * rpt from * to * once, miss tr, 1dc into next dc. Turn. (3 groups)

 

Rpt Pattern Row 5 more times. Fasten off.


Second side of neck - Miss centre 15 stitches, rejoin colour 1 to next dc, make 1ch, (1dc, 1tr) into base of 1ch, * miss 1tr, (1dc, 1tr) into next dc, * rpt from * to * to last tr and dc, miss tr, 1dc into dc. Turn. (3 groups)


Rpt Pattern Row 5 more times. Turn.

 

Edging - With WS facing, make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each stitch across shoulder, 3dc into corner, work 32dc evenly into row ends down first side of bib, 3dc into corner, work 1dc into each ch along cast on edge, 3dc into corner, work 32dc evenly into row ends up the second side of bib, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each stitch along shoulder, 3dc into corner, work 25dc evenly around neck edge to end, 1dc into next corner, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn.

 

Starting with 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work one more row of 1dc into each dc to end, working 3dc into all corners, ss to first dc. Turn. Fasten off.


Next Row - (to include ties) Using colour 2 make 51ch, 1dc into 2nd ch from hook, 1dc into each ch to end, (this is the first tie) starting with RS facing on a neck edge, work 1dc into each dc across shoulder, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each dc down first side of bib, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each dc along the bottom of bib, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each dc up the second side of bib, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each dc along shoulder, 1dc into corner, make 51ch, 1dc into 2nd ch from hook, 1dc into each ch to end, (this is the second tie) 1dc into each dc along shoulder, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each dc down first side of bib, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each dc along the bottom of bib, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each dc up the second side of bib, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each dc along shoulder to corner. Fasten off. Turn.

 

Next Row - With WS facing, rejoin colour 1 to dc on neck edge at the base of first tie, starting with 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work two more rows of 1dc into each dc, across shoulders, sides and bottom of bib, working 3dc into all corners and turning at the end of row, leave ties un-worked. Fasten off.

 

Finishing - Weave in and trim off any loose ends of yarn.


Bottle cover - (Base) With colour 1 make 6ch, ss to first ch to make a ring, 1ch, work 10dc into ring, ss to first dc on beginning of round. DNT. (10dc)


Round 2 - 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, work 2tr into each dc to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round. DNT. (19tr + 3ch)


Round 3 - 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, * 1tr into next tr, 2tr into next tr, * rpt from * to * to last tr, 1tr into tr, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round. DNT. (29tr + 3ch)


Round 4 - (Top) Working into back of stitch only, make 3ch, 1tr into each tr to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round. Turn.


Round 5 - 1ch, (1dc, 1tr) into base of 1ch, * miss 1tr, (1dc, 1tr) into next tr, * rpt from * to * to last tr, miss tr, ss to first dc on beginning of round. Turn. (15 groups)


Round 6 - 1ch, (1dc, 1tr) into base of 1ch, * miss 1tr, (1dc, 1tr) into next dc, * rpt from * to * to last tr and dc, miss tr and dc, ss to first dc on beginning of round. Turn.


Rpt Round 6 two more times. Fasten off.


Join in colour 2 and rpt Round 6 three more times. Fasten off.


Join in colour 1 and rpt Round 6 until 27 rows have been worked in all from beginning. Fasten off.


Finishing - Weave in and trim off any loose ends of yarn.


Burp Cloth - With colour 1, make 42ch loosely, work 1dc into 2nd ch from hook, 1dc into each ch to end. Turn. (41dc)


Next Row - 1ch, (1dc, 1tr) into base of 1ch, * miss 1dc, (1dc, 1tr) into next dc, * rpt from * to * to last 2dc, miss 1dc, work 1dc into last dc. Turn. (20 groups)


Work Pattern Row from bib four times. Fasten off.


Join in colour 2 and rpt Pattern Row from bib three more times. Fasten off.


Join in colour 1 and rpt Pattern Row from bib a further 43 times. Fasten off.


Join in colour 2 and rpt Pattern Row from bib three more times. Fasten off.


Join in colour 1 and rpt Pattern Row from bib five more times. Turn.


Next Row - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each stitch to end. Turn.


Edging - Make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc, 3dc into corner, work 62dc evenly into row ends down the first side of the cloth, 3dc into corner, work 1dc into each ch along cast on edge, 3dc into corner, work 62dc evenly into row ends up the second side of cloth, 1dc into corner, ss to first dc. Turn.


Work one more row in dc, working 3dc into corners, turning and slip stitching to first dc on the end of row. Fasten off.


Join in colour 2 and work two more rows in dc, working 3dc into corners, turning and slip stitching to first dc on the end of each row. Fasten off.


Join in colour 1 and work two more rows in dc, working 3dc into corners, turning and slip stitching to first dc on the end of each row. Fasten off.


Finishing - Weave in and trim off all loose ends of yarn.
