TENSION - 2 groups and 3 rows measures approx 1 Inch

Overalls - Using 4.00mm hook make 96ch, being careful not to twist the ch length, ss to first ch to make a round, make 1ch, (WS) 1dc into base of 1ch, work 1dc into each ch to end, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn. (96dc)


Next Row - 1ch, (1dc, 1htr, 1tr) into base of 1ch, * miss 2dc, (1dc, 1htr, 1tr) into next dc, * rpt from * to * to last 2dc, miss 2dc, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn. (32 groups)


Pattern Row - 1ch, (1dc, 1htr, 1tr) into base of 1ch, * miss 1tr and 1htr, work (1dc, 1htr, 1tr) into next dc, * rpt from * to * to last tr and htr, miss 1tr and htr, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn.


Rpt Pattern Row until 23 rows have been worked or work measures approx 6 inches.  


Divide for legs


First Leg - 1ch, (1dc, 1htr, 1tr) into base of 1ch, * miss 1tr and 1htr, work (1dc, 1htr, 1tr) into next dc, * rpt from * to * over next 14 groups, ss to first dc on beginning of row, turn leaving 16 groups un-worked.


Continue with Pattern Row on these 17 groups until 20 rows have been worked or leg seam measures approx 5.5 inches. Turn.


Second Leg - With WS facing return to remaining un-worked stitches at division, miss 1tr and 1htr, rejoin yarn to next dc, work Pattern Row over next 16 groups, miss 1tr, 1htr and dc, ss to first dc on beginning of row.


Continue with Pattern Row and work same as first leg. Fasten off.


With RS of work facing, rejoin yarn with a ss to cast on edge at waist, 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 95 more dc evenly along edge, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn. (96dc).


Eyelet Row - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * make 2ch, miss 1dc, 1dc into each of next 2dc, * rpt from * to * to last 2dc, work 2ch, miss 1dc, 1dc into last dc, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn.


Next Row - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc and 2ch space to end. Fasten off. (96dc)


Bib


Front - With WS facing and counting from back seam, miss 28dc, rejoin yarn to next dc, 1ch, (1dc, 1htr, 1tr) into base of 1ch, * miss 2dc, work (1dc, 1htr, 1tr) into next dc, * rpt from * to * 10 more times, miss 2dc, 1dc into next dc. Turn. (12 groups)


Row 2 - 1ch, (1dc, 1htr, 1tr) into base of 1ch, * miss 1tr and 1htr, work (1dc, 1htr, 1tr) into next dc, * rpt from * to * to last tr, htr and dc, miss tr and htr, 1dc into dc. Turn.


Rpt Row 2 until 15 rows have been worked or work measures approx 4 inches. Turn.


Shape Neck - 1ch, (1dc, 1htr, 1tr) into base of 1ch, * miss 1tr and 1htr, work (1dc, 1htr, 1tr) into next dc, * rpt from * to * once, miss 1tr and htr, 1dc into last dc. Turn. (3 groups)


Work Row 2 four more times. Fasten off.


Return to remaining stitches on neck, miss 17 stitches, rejoin yarn to next dc, work in pattern as set to end. Turn. Continue on these 3 groups to match same as first side. Fasten off.


Bib Front Edging - With WS facing and starting at lower edge by waist band, work 20dc evenly into row ends up side of bib to corner, 3dc into corner, 8dc across shoulder, 3dc into corner, 25dc evenly around neck edge to next corner, 3dc into corner, 8dc across second shoulder, 3dc into corner, 20dc evenly into row ends down second side of bib. Turn. Starting with 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work one more row of 1dc into each dc around front of bib, working 3dc into corners. Fasten off.


Bib Back - With WS facing and starting from the bottom of bib front, miss 11dc, rejoin yarn to next dc, work 1ch, (1dc, 1htr, 1tr) into base of 1ch, * miss 2dc, work (1dc, 1htr, 1tr) into next dc, * rpt from * to * 10 more times, miss 2dc, 1dc into next dc. Turn. (12 groups) you should have 11dc left un-worked.


Work in pattern as set until 20 rows have been worked. Turn.


Next Row - 1ch, 1dc into base of ch, work 1dc into next each of 10st. Turn.


Starting with 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 1dc into each dc to end. Turn. Rpt last row twice more (11dc)


Next Row - (Buttonholes) 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into next dc, 2ch, miss 1dc, 1dc into next 5dc, 2ch, miss 1dc, 1dc into last 2dc. Turn. Starting with 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 1 more row of 1dc into each dc and 2ch space to end. Fasten off.


Return to remaining stitches on neck, miss 15 stitches, rejoin yarn to next st, 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each of next 10st, complete second side same as first. Fasten off.


Bib Back Edge - With WS  facing starting at lower edge by waist band, edge evenly with 2 rows of dc in same way as you did for front of bib, working 3dc into each corner and 9dc across shoulders not 8dc. Fasten off.


Finishing - Close small gap on crotch, tack 4 corners of bib to waistband, weave in and trim off any loose ends of yarn, attach buttons to correspond with buttonholes on shoulders, thread ribbon through eyelet holes on waist and tie with a bow.
