10 grams of Stylecraft Special DK in Colour 2
4.00mm & 4.50mm crochet hooks
TENSION - 5tr and 2.5 rows measure approx 1 Inch using 4.00mm hook

Made in continuous rows without turning until row 6 - With 4.00mm hook and colour
1, make 6ch, ss to first ch to form a ring, 3ch, work 12tr into ring, miss 3ch to
turn with, ss to first tr on beginning of row.
Row 2 - 3ch, 2tr in base of 3ch, 2tr into each tr to end, miss 3ch to turn with,
ss to first tr on beginning of row. (24tr)
Row 3 - 3ch, 2tr into base of 3ch, 1tr into next tr, * 2tr into next tr, 1tr into
next tr, * rpt from * to * to end, miss 3ch to turn with, ss to first tr on beginning
of row. (36tr)
Row 4 - 3ch, 2tr into base of 3ch, 1tr into each of next 2tr, * 2tr into next tr,
1tr into each of next 2tr, * rpt from * to * to end, miss 3ch to turn with, ss to
first tr on beginning of row. (48tr)
Row 5 - Rpt Row 4. (64tr)
Row 6 - 3ch, 2tr into base of 3ch, 1tr into each of next 31tr, 2tr into next tr,
1tr into each of next 31tr, miss 3ch to turn, ss to first tr on beginning of row.
Fasten off. Turn. (66tr)
Change to 4.50mm hook
Pattern Row 1 - Join in colour 2, work 5ch, miss 2tr, 1dc into next tr, * 2ch, miss
2tr, 1tr into next tr, 2ch, miss 2tr, 1dc into next tr, * rpt from * to * to last
2tr, make 2ch, miss last 2tr, ss to 3rd of 5ch. Turn. (22, 2ch spaces)
Pattern Row 2 - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * miss 2ch, 5tr into next dc, miss 2ch,
1dc into next tr, * rpt from * to * to last (2ch, dc, 2ch) miss 2ch, 5tr into next
dc, miss 2ch, ss to first dc. Turn. (11, 5tr groups)
Pattern Row 3 - 5ch, miss 2tr, 1dc into next tr, * 2ch, miss 2tr, 1tr into next dc,
2ch, miss 2tr, 1dc into next tr, * rpt from * to * to last 2tr, make 2ch, miss last
2tr, ss to 3rd of 5ch. Fasten off. Turn.
Pattern Row 4 - Join in colour 1, make 3ch, * 2tr into each 2ch space and 1tr into
each dc and tr to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. Fasten off. Turn. (65tr
+ 3ch)
Rpt Pattern Rows 1 - 3. Fasten off. Turn.
Next Row - Join in colour 1, make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * miss 2ch, 7tr into
next dc, miss 2ch, 1dc into next tr, * rpt from * to * to last (2ch, dc, 2ch) miss
2ch, 7tr into next dc, miss 2ch, ss to first dc. Fasten off.
Finishing - Weave in loose ends of yarn and trim.
