Rpt Pattern Round until 15 rounds have been worked or work measures approx 11.5 inches
from shoulder. Fasten off.
Join in colour 2 to space between shell and 3ch, make 1ch, work 1dc into base of
1ch, 5tr into 1ch space of shell group, * 1dc into space between shell groups, 5tr
into 1ch space of shell group, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to first dc on beginning
of round. Fasten off.
Sleeves x 2 - With WS facing rejoin colour 1 to first un-worked dc under arm, 1ch,
1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each of next 26dc, ss to first dc on beginning of

first dc later in the finishing section of the pattern)
Starting with 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work one more row of 1dc into each dc, ss
to first dc. Fasten off.
Button/Buttonhole Bands - With RS facing rejoin colour 1 to side of tr on skirt at
base of right hand side of back edge, make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 19 more
dc evenly into row ends to neck edge, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each ch around neck,
3dc into corner, 20dc evenly into row ends down second back edge. Turn.
Next Row - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to corner, 1dc into corner.
Fasten off. (22dc)
Buttonhole Row - Return to first back edge, working from neck downwards, starting
from corner with WS facing work 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * make 2ch, miss 1dc,
1dc into each of next 7dc, * rpt from * to * once, make 2ch, miss 1dc, 1dc into each
of the remaining dc. Fasten off. (3 buttonholes made) Turn.
Join in colour 2, work 1dc into each dc and 2ch space up first back edge, 3dc into
corner, 1dc into each dc around neck, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each dc to end. Fasten
off.
Finishing - Close small gaps underarm, weave in all loose ends of yarn and trim,
sew on buttons to correspond with buttonholes, thread ribbon through alternate tr's
under yoke and tie in a bow, decorate with Rosebuds.
Bolero - Using colour 2, rpt from # to # on dress. Turn.
Next Row - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to end. (71dc) Fasten off.
Sleeves x 2 - With WS facing rejoin colour 1 to first un-worked dc under arm, 1ch,
1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each of next 26dc, ss to first dc on beginning of
row. Turn. (27dc)
Starting with 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 1dc into each dc to end, ss to first
dc. Turn.
Rpt last row until 26 rows have been worked from division or under arm seam measures
approx 5 inches. Fasten off.
Button/Buttonhole Bands - With RS facing rejoin colour 2 to base of right hand side
of front edge, make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 18 more dc evenly into row ends
to neck edge, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each ch around neck, 3dc into corner, 18dc
evenly into row ends down second back edge. Turn.
Buttonhole Row - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to corner, 3dc into
corner, 1dc into each dc around neck, 1dc into corner, * make 2ch, miss 1dc, 1dc
into each dc to end. Fasten off. (1 buttonhole made)
