WS.    Wrong Side

RS.     Right Side

ch.     Chain

tr.       Treble Crochet

rpt.     Repeat

ss.      Slip Stitch

Base of ch. Work into first stitch

Size to fit approx:  6-12 Month Baby

8.25 inches in length x 2.25 Inches wide

Materials

15 grams of  King Cole big value baby DK

5.00mm crochet hook

TENSION - 5tr and 2 rows measures approx 1 Inch

Make 12ch, 1tr into 3rd ch from hook, 1tr into each ch to end. Turn. (10tr)

Pattern Row - Working into back loop only make 2ch, 1tr into base of 2ch, 1tr into each tr to end. Turn.

Rpt Pattern Row until 32 rows have been worked in all from beginning. Turn.

Fold headband in half and with WS facing ss the cast on edge and the last row you worked together to make a round. Fasten off.

Flower Motif - Click here for the flower motif.

Make in a contrast colour, working the 4th row in the colour you have made the headband in.

Finishing - Weave in all loose ends of yarn and trim off, attach flower motif to headband.
