GAUGE - 5dc & 2.5 rows measure approx 1 Inch square using 4.00mm hook

Start with Yoke (worked in one piece) - Using 4.00mm hook and color 1, ch55, (RS)
1dc in 4th ch from hook, 1dc in each ch to end. Turn. (52dc + ch3)
Row 2 - (Inc Row) ch3, 1dc in each of next 2dc, * 2dc in next dc, 1dc in each of
the next 4dc, * rpt from * to * to last 4dc and ch3 to turn with, 2dc in next dc,
1dc in each of next 3dc, 1dc in top of ch3. Turn. (62dc + ch3).
Row 3 - ch3, 1dc in each dc to end, 1dc in top of ch3. Turn.
Row 4 - (Inc Row) ch3, 1dc in each of next 2dc, * 2dc in next dc, 1dc in each of
the next 3dc, * rpt from * to * to last 3dc and ch3 to turn with, 2dc in next dc,
1dc in each of next 2dc, 1dc in top of ch3. Turn. (77dc + ch3)
Row 5 - as Row 3.
Row 6 - (Inc Row) ch3, 1dc in next dc, * 2dc in next dc, 1dc in each of the next
2dc, * rpt from * to * to end, 1dc in top of ch3. Turn. (102dc + ch3)
Row 7 - as Row 3.
Row 8 - (Inc Row) as Row 6, until 1dc and ch3 remain, 2dc in dc, 1dc in top of ch3.
Turn. (136dc + ch3)
Row 9 - As Row 3. Fasten off. Turn.
Row 10 - Join in color 2, ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each dc to end. Fasten
off. Turn. (137sc)
Commence with Skirt - Using color 1, ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, * skip 1sc, work 3dc
in next sc, skip 1sc, 1sc in next sc, rpt from * to * to end. Turn. (34 groups).
Row 12 - ch3, 1dc in base of ch3, * skip 1dc, 1sc in next dc, skip 1dc, 3dc in next
sc, * rpt from * to * to last 3dc group and sc, skip 1dc, 1sc in next dc, skip 1dc,
2dc in last sc. Turn.
Row 13 - (Divide for armholes) ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, * skip 1dc, 3dc in next sc,
skip 1dc, 1sc in next dc, * rpt from * to * 3 more times, skip 1dc, 1dc in next sc,
skip seven 3dc groups (sleeve) work 2dc in next sc, skip 1dc, 1sc in next dc, rpt
from * to * 10 more times, skip 1dc, 1dc in next sc, skip seven 3dc groups, (sleeve)
2dc in next sc, skip 1dc, 1sc in next dc, rpt from * to * 3 more times, skip 1dc,
3dc in next sc, skip 1dc, 1sc in top of ch3. (20 groups)
Row 14 - ch3, 1dc in base of ch3, * skip 1dc, 1sc in next dc, skip 1dc, 3dc in next
sc, * rpt from * to * to last 3dc group and sc, skip 1dc, 1sc in next dc, skip 1dc,
2dc in last sc. Turn.
Row 15 - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, * skip 1dc, 3dc in next sc, skip 1dc, 1sc in next
dc, * rpt from * to * end, working last sc in top of ch3. Turn.
Change to 4.50mm hook.
Rpt Rows 14 & 15 until 17 group rows have been worked from yoke or work measures
approx 10.5 Inches from shoulder. Fasten off.
Sleeves x 2 - Using 4.00mm hook, color 1 with RS facing, rejoin yarn in same sc you
have already worked 1dc in at the base of armhole, ch3, 1dc in same sc, * skip 1dc,
1sc in next dc, skip 1dc, 3dc in next sc, * rpt from * to * to opposite side of sleeve,
1dc in same sc as you worked 2dc in at the base of armhole, sl st to top of ch3 on
beginning of row. Fasten off. (7 groups)
Front and Neck Bands - Using 4.00mm hook and color 1, starting at lower edge with
RS facing and working in row ends, work 44sc evenly along up first front edge to
corner, 3sc in corner, 1sc in each dc around neck, 3sc in corner, work 44sc evenly
along and in row ends down second front edge. Turn.
Next Row - ch1, work 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each sc to neck edge. Fasten off.
With WS facing return to second side, working from neck downwards and starting with
ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, work 1sc in each sc to end. Fasten off. Turn.
Join in color 2, ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each sc, up first front, 3sc in
corner, 1sc in each sc around neck to next corner, 3sc in corner, 1sc in each sc
down second front edge. Fasten off.
Finishing - Weave in and trim off any loose ends of yarn. Close small gaps underarms.
Sew 3 buttons evenly down front of yoke, use holes in the dc’s as buttonholes.
