Row 2 - (Inc Row) ch3, 1dc in each of next 2dc, * 2dc in next dc, 1dc in each of next 3dc, * rpt from * to * to end working last dc in top of ch3. Turn. (57dc + ch3)


Row 3 - ch3, 1dc in each dc to end, 1dc in top of ch3. Turn.


Row 4 - (Inc Row) ch3, 1dc in next dc * 2dc in next dc, 1dc in each of next 2dc * rpt from * to * to last dc and ch3, 2dc in dc, 1dc in top of ch3. Turn. (76dc + ch3)

Sleeves x 2 - With WS facing, rejoin yarn to first single dc at base of armhole, (where you divided), ch3, * 1ps group in ch1 space of next ps group, 1dc in next 3dc, * rpt from * to * to last ps group, 1ps group in ch1 space of next ps group, 2dc in next dc, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of row on the opposite side of sleeve. Turn (5ps groups)


Next Row - ch3, 1dc in each of next 2dc, * 1ps group in ch1 space of ps group, 1dc in each of next 3dc, * rpt from * to * to last ps group, work 1ps group in ch1 space of ps group, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of row. Turn.


Next Row - ch3, * 1ps group in ch1 space of ps group, 1dc in each of next 3dc, * rpt from * to * to last ps group and 2dc, work 1ps group in ch1 space of ps group, 1dc in each of next 2dc, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of row. Turn.

Cuff - With WS facing  ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each of next 2dc, * skip 1ps, 1sc in ch1 space of ps group, skip 1ps, 1sc in each of next 3dc, * rpt from * to * to last ps group, 1sc in ch1 space of ps group, sl st to first sc. Turn. (20sc)


Next row - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each sc to end, sl st to first sc on beginning of row.


Rpt last row twice. Fasten off.


Front Edging - With RS facing and starting at lower edge on right hand side of coat, work 2sc in each row end up right front, 3sc in corner, 1sc in each stitch around neck to next corner, 3sc in corner, 2sc in each row end down left front of coat, 3sc in corner, 1sc in each dc, ps and ch1 space along the bottom of coat, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Turn.


Buttonhole Row - Work 1sc in each sc along bottom of coat to corner, 3sc in corner, 1sc in each sc up left front to corner, 3sc in corner, 1sc in each sc around neck to next corner, 1sc in corner, * ch2, skip 1sc, 1sc in next 5sc, * rpt from * to * once, ch2, skip 1sc, 1sc in remaining sc, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Turn. (3 buttonholes made)


Work 1 more row of 1sc in each sc and ch2 space all around coat to end, working 3sc in corners, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Fasten off.


Finishing - Weave in and trim any loose ends of yarn.


Bonnet - ch6, sl st to first ch to form a ring, ch3, work 11dc in ring, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of row.


2nd Row - ch3, 1dc in base of ch3, 2dc in each dc to end, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of row. (23dc + ch3)


3rd Row - ch3, 1dc in base of ch3, 1dc in next dc, * 2dc in next dc, 1dc in next dc, * rpt from * to * to end, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of row. (35dc + ch3)

Rpt last 7th Row until 6 ps rows have been worked. Turn.


Edging - With RS facing work 1sc in each dc, ps and ch1 space along front of bonnet, 3sc in top of ch3, 2sc in each row end along and around neck edge, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Turn. Work one more row of 1sc in each sc to end, working 3sc in corners, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Fasten off.


Back Frill - With front of bonnet towards you, rejoin yarn in loose loops by neck opening (made by working in back loops on 6th Row) ch3, skip 1dc, * 1ps group in next dc, skip 1dc, * rpt from * to * to last 2dc, skip 1dc, work 1dc, in last dc. Turn. (25ps groups). Fasten off.


Finishing - Weave in and trim any loose ends of yarn, thread ribbon through gaps in pattern around neck edge.
