TENSION - 5tr and 3 rows measure approx 1 Inch using 3.50mm hook

Worked in one piece starting with yoke.
With 3.50mm hook and colour 1 make 49ch, (RS) 1tr in 4th ch from hook, 1tr into each
of next 5ch, (Front) 1vst (see abbrev) into next ch, 1tr into each of next 7ch, (shoulder)
1vst into next ch, 1tr into each of next 15ch, (Back) 1vst into next ch, 1tr into
each of next 7ch, (shoulder) 1vst into next ch, 1tr into each of next 7ch, (Front).
Turn. (50tr, 4, 1ch spaces + 3ch)
2nd Row - (Inc Row) Make 3ch, * 1tr into each tr to next 1ch space, 1vst into 1ch
space, * rpt from * to * to last 1ch space, 1vst into 1ch space, 1tr into each tr
to 3ch to turn with, work 1tr into top of 3ch. Turn. (58tr, 4, 1ch spaces + 3ch)
3rd to 8th - rpt 2nd Row. Turn. (106tr, 4, 1ch spaces + 3ch)
9th Row - (Inc and Divide for Armholes) Make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into
next 2tr, * 2dc into next tr, 1dc into next tr, * rpt from * to * to first 1ch space,
2dc into 1ch space, miss next 23tr, 2dc into next 1ch space, 1dc into next tr, rpt
from * to * to next 1ch space, 2dc into 1ch space, miss next 23tr, 2dc into next
1ch space, 1dc into next tr, rpt from * to * to last tr and 3ch, 1dc into last tr,
1dc into top of 3ch. Turn. (96dc)
10th Row - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to end, ss to first dc on
beginning of row to make a round. Fasten off. Turn.
Commence Body - Counting from where you fasten off, miss 26dc, rejoin yarn to next
dc, 3ch, (1tr, 2ch, 1dc) into base of 3ch, * miss 3dc, (2tr, 2ch, 1dc) into next
dc, * rpt from * to * (including working over join on front split) to last 3dc, miss
last 3dc, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn. (24 groups)
Pattern Row - ss into first 2ch space, 3ch, (1tr, 2ch, 1dc) into same 2ch space,
* miss 2tr and dc, (2tr, 2ch, 1dc) into next 2ch space, * rpt from * to * to end,
ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn.
Rpt Pattern Row until 16 rows have been worked. Fasten off. Turn.
Divide for Legs
First leg - Counting from where you fastened off, miss 6 groups, # make 3ch, (1tr,
2ch, 1dc) into next 2ch space, * miss 2tr and dc, (2tr, 2ch, 1dc) into next 2ch space,
* rpt from * to * over next 10 groups (Do Not ss at the end of the row). # Turn leaving
remaining 12 groups un-worked. (12 Groups)
Rpt from # to # in pattern as set turning at the end of each row until 8 rows have
been worked from division. Fasten off. Turn.
Cuff - Join in colour 2 to first dc, make 3ch, 1tr into each 2ch space, 2tr and dc
to end, working last tr into top of 3ch. Turn. (47tr + 3ch)
Next Row - 3ch, * 1fptr around next tr, 1bptr around next tr, * rpt from * to * to
end. Turn. (see abbrev for fptr and bptr)
Rpt last row once. Fasten off.
Second Leg - Return to un-worked groups at division, work 3ch, (1tr, 2ch, 1dc) into
first 2ch space, continue second leg same as the first leg.
Sleeves x 2 - With RS facing rejoin yarn to side of dc underarm, 1ch, 1dc into base
of 1ch, 1dc into next 1ch space, 1dc into each of next 23tr, 1dc into 1ch space,
1dc into side of dc on opposite side of sleeve, ss to first dc on beginning of row.
Turn. (27dc)
Starting with 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 1dc into each dc to end, ss to first
dc. Turn.
Next Row - 3ch, (1tr, 2ch, 1dc) into base of 3ch, * miss 2dc, (2tr, 2ch, 1dc) into
next dc, * rpt from * to * to last 2dc, miss last 2dc, ss to top of 3ch on beginning
of row. Turn. (9 groups)
Rpt Pattern Row for body until 6 rows have been worked. Fasten off. Turn.
Cuff - Join in colour 2, make 3ch, miss 1dc, 1tr into each 2ch space and 2tr to end,
ss to top of 3ch. Turn. (26tr + 3ch)
Next Row - 3ch, * 1fptr around next tr, 1bptr around next tr, * rpt from * to * to
end. Turn.
Rpt last row once. Fasten off.
Crotch Edging
Back - With RS facing rejoin colour 1 to side of rib on first leg, make 1ch, 1dc
into base of 1ch, work 17dc evenly into row ends up side of leg to crotch, dec 1dc
over next 2tr, work 18dc evenly into row e
nds down second leg. Turn. (37dc)
Starting with 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 1dc into each dc to end. Turn. Rpt
last row three more times making 5 rows in all. Fasten off.
Front - With RS facing rejoin colour 1 to side of rib on first leg, make 1ch, 1dc
into base of 1ch, work 17dc evenly into row ends up side of leg to crotch, dec 1dc
over next 2tr, work 18dc evenly into row ends down second leg to end. Turn. (37dc)
Buttonhole Row - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into next dc, * make 2ch, miss 1dc,
1dc into each of next 7dc, * rpt from * to * three times, make 2ch, miss 1dc, 1dc
into each of remaining dc. Turn.
Starting with 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 1dc into each dc and 2ch to end. Fasten
off.
Collar - With WS side facing rejoin colour 2 at neck edge, make 1ch, 1dc into base
of 1ch, 1dc into each of next 2tr, * 2dc into next tr, 1dc into each of next 3tr,
* rpt from * to * to end. Turn. (57dc)
Next Row - 3ch, (1tr, 1ch, 1dc) into base of 3ch, * miss 2dc, (2tr, 2ch, 1dc) into
next dc, * rpt from * to * to end. Turn. (20 Groups)
Next Row - 3ch, (1tr, 2ch, 1dc) into next 2ch space, * miss 2tr and dc, (2tr, 2ch,
1dc) into next 2ch space, * rpt from * to * to end. Turn.
Rpt last row three more times. Fasten off.
Front Split Edging
First Side - Rejoin colour 1 to bottom of split on right hand side, make 1ch, 1dc
into base of 1ch, work 18dc evenly into row ends up to neck edge. Turn. (19dc)
Starting with 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 1dc into each dc to end. Fasten off.
Second side - Rejoin colour 1 to neck edge on second side of front edge, working
from neck downwards work row same as for first side. Turn.
Starting with 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 1dc into each dc to end. Fasten off.
Finishing - Weave in and trim off loose ends of yarn, fold over 2 rows of back crotch
edge and attach buttons to correspond with buttonholes, attach a button at neck edge
and use a gap in tr's as a buttonhole or thread with ribbon and make a small bow
to fasten.
Make a ribbon bow on first row of pattern at the bottom of the front split.
