5.00mm & 4.00mm crochet hooks
small amount of 6mm wide ribbon
Ribbon rosebuds and buttons used for decoration are optional
TENSION - 4tr and 2 rows of tr's measures approx 1 Inch using 4.00mm hook

Sleep-Suit - (Worked in one piece starting with Yoke) With 4.00mm hook make 45ch,
1tr into 4th ch from hook, 1tr into each ch to end (42tr + 3ch) Turn.
Row 2 - (Inc Row) 3ch, 1tr into each of next 2tr, * 2tr into next tr, 1tr into each
of next 3tr, * rpt from * to * to last 3tr and 3ch, 2tr into next tr, 1tr into each
of next 2tr, 1tr into top of 3ch, (52tr +3ch). Turn.
Row 3 - 3ch, 1tr into each tr to end, 1tr into top of 3ch. Turn.
Row 4 - (Inc Row) 3ch, 1tr into next tr * 2tr into next tr, 1tr into each of next
2tr
* rpt from * to * to last 2tr and 3ch, 2tr into next tr, 1tr into last tr, 1tr into
top of 3ch. Turn. (69tr +3ch)
Row 5 - Rpt Row 3 Turn.
Row 6 - (Inc Row) 3ch, 1tr into next tr, * 2tr into next tr, 1tr into each of next
2tr
* rpt from * to * to last tr and 3ch, 2tr into next tr, 1tr into top of 3ch (92tr
+ 3ch) Turn.
Row 7 - Rpt Row 3 Turn.
Row 8 - (Divide for armholes) 3ch, 1tr in each of next 14tr, make 2ch, miss 16tr,
1tr into each of next 31tr, make 2ch, miss 16tr, 1tr into each of next 14tr, 1tr
into top of 3ch. Turn. (60tr, 2, 2ch spaces + 3ch)
Row 9 - Working into back loop of stitch only make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc
into each tr and 2ch space to end, 1dc into top of 3ch. Turn. (63dc)
Change to 5.00mm hook.
Commence Body - Work through both loops from now on, make 2ch, * miss 1dc, (1htr,
1ch, 1htr) into next dc, * rpt from * to * to last 2dc, miss 1dc, 1htr into last
dc. Turn. (30, vst + 2ch)
Pattern Row - 2ch, (1htr, 1ch, 1htr) into each 1ch space to end, 1htr into top of
2ch. Turn.
Rpt Pattern Row 32 more times until 34 rows have been worked or work measures approx
11.5 Inches from yoke. Turn.
Edging - Working along bottom of sleep-suit and missing all 1ch spaces, work 1ch,
2dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each tr to end, 3dc into top of 2ch, work 50dc evenly
into row ends along first front edge to corner, 3dc into corner, 1dc into tr around
neck to next corner, 3dc into corner, work 50dc evenly into row ends along second
front edge, 1dc into corner, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn.
Next Row - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to corner, 1dc into corner.
Turn. Starting with 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 1dc into dc to end. Fasten off.
Return to first front edge and working from neck downwards work 1ch, 1dc into base
of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to end. Turn.
Next Row - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 1dc into dc to end. Fasten off.
Sleeves x 2 - With 4.00mm hook and WS facing, rejoin yarn to side of tr on base of
armhole, (where you divided) make 3ch, work 1tr into same space, 1tr into each tr
to opposite side of sleeve, 2tr into side of tr, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of
row. Turn. (19tr + 3ch)
Next Row - Working into back loop of stitch only make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch,
1dc into each tr to end, ss to first dc. Turn. (20dc)
Next Row - Working through both loops make 3ch, 1htr into base of 3ch, * miss 1dc,
work (1htr, 1ch, 1htr) into next dc, * rpt from * to * to last dc, miss last dc,
ss to 2nd of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn. (10 vst)
Pattern Row 1 - 2ch, work (1htr, 1ch, 1htr) into each 1ch space to last htr and 1ch,
work 1tr, 1ch into last 1ch space, ss to top of 2ch on beginning of row. Turn.
Pattern Row 2 - 3ch, 1htr into base of 3ch, work (1htr, 1ch, 1htr) into each 1ch
space to end, ss to 2nd of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn.
Continue with Pattern Rows 1 & 2 until 7 rows in all have been worked from yoke,
or sleeve seam measures 2.5 Inches. Fasten off.
Working downwards rejoin yarn with a ss to first loop on loose loops around yoke,
work * 3ch, ss, * into next loop, * rpt from * to * to end. Fasten off. Rejoin yarn
underarm and rpt last row around loose loops on sleeves, ss to first ss on beginning
of row.
Finishing - With WS facing overlap front edges and centre to the back edge (pin to
back to keep in place) using 5.00mm hook, ss through dc from front and back along
bottom of sleep-suit to close edge, (see pic) sew in and tie off loose ends of yarn,
attach ribbon on yoke and tie in bo
ws.
Hat - (Worked in rounds without turning to 5th row) - With 4.00mm hook, make
5ch, join to first ch with a ss to form a ring, 3ch, work 11tr into ring, join with
ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row.
2nd Row - (Inc Row) 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, 2tr in each of next 11tr, ss to top
of 3ch on beginning of row. (23tr + 3ch).
3rd Row - (Inc Row) 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, 1tr into next tr, * 2tr into next
tr, 1tr into next tr, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of
row.
(35tr + 3ch)
4th Row - (Inc Row) 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, 1tr into each of next 2tr, * 2tr into
next tr, 1tr into each of next 2tr, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to top of 3ch on
beginning of row. (47tr + 3ch)
5th Row - Working into back loop of stitch only make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc
into each tr to end, ss to first dc. Turn. (48dc)
Work through both loops from now on, make 3ch, 1htr into base of 3ch, * miss 1dc,
(1htr, 1ch, 1htr) into next dc, * rpt from * to * to last dc, miss last dc, ss to
2nd of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn. (24vst)
1st Pattern Row - 2ch, work (1htr, 1ch, 1htr) into each 1ch space to last htr and
1ch, work 1htr, 1ch into last 1ch space, ss to top of 2ch on beginning of row. Turn.
2nd Pattern Row - 3ch, 1htr into 1ch space at base of 3ch, work (1htr, 1ch, 1htr)
into each 1ch space to end, ss to 2nd of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn.
Continue with 1st & 2nd Pattern Rows until nine pattern rows have been worked in
all. Fasten off.
With crown facing towards you ss to first loose loop (created on the 5th Row), work
* 3ch, ss into next loop, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to first ss on beginning of
row. Fasten off.
Finishing - Sew in and tie off loose ends of yarn.
